My family and I took a soul filled trip this summer to the Adirondacks which I will be sharing in a future post. But I just had to share what we stumbled upon along the way! In the rural and beautiful town of Natural Bridge, NY on Route 3, there is a wonderful shop called The Natural Basket Shop.
Now, don’t let the name of the shop fool you. Although the shop owner Yvonne (very nice lady & so talented) does make some beautiful baskets with natural deer antlers woven in, her shop is more like a little antique village. I was immediately enamored.
Her layout of sweet little sheds and the main building are chock full of anything and everything you could imagine. This place will keep you wanting to browse for hours!
I love how she has everything displayed and how much of the merchandise speaks of the Adirondack experience itself. From rustic lodge decor and vintage fishing equipment to elegant Victorian era dresses and fine porcelain, this is truly an antique lover’s destination that I highly recommend.
My husband and I were so happy with all of the purchases we made but, as you can see, my brother Chris was by far the happiest fisherman around with his find, an antique fishing pole with reel. After all, this is the Adirondacks!
